COMMUNITY GAMES
The U10 boys and girls Gaelic Footballers of Castleconnor began their Community Games campaign by receiving a walkover from Drumcliffe. Next up was an away game versus Coolaney on a blistering hot evening on the 30th of May. Castleconnor ran out comprehensive winners following an excellent all round team performance on a score line of 4.19 to 0.6.
Next up was a home Quarter Final against defending champions Coolera. We started the game brightly with a well taken goal inside the opening minute but a physically stronger Coolera took control thereafter, winning on a scoreline of 4.12 to 1.7. Great effort and attitude was shown by all the boys and girls involved and with 11 of the panel underage again next year there is great hope for the future.
