Resurfacing work on N59

Sligo County Council will continue to carr y out essential works on the N59 between Ballisodare to Belladrehid. The works will involve resurfacing of approx. 1.9km of the N59 road between Ballisodare Village and the Belladrehid Rail Bridge and are expected to l ast for approx. 12 weeks in total but will be completed in sections. Traffic management will be in place and the road will be reduced to one l ane. Temporar y traffic lights will be in place for the duration of the works. Delays are expected and motorists are advised to use alternative routes where possible.
