LiveTiles off to a flyer with new product from Sligo base

-

A software company set up in Sligo in June has developed its first product here.

Neon Circle, a ready-to-go intranet for small and medium-sized enterprises is the first solution developed by LiveTiles out of their newly-established office at IT Sligo and is a ‘ turnkey’ intranet-in-a-box product that can be quickly deployed and customised for time-poor, resource stretched businesses.

“Neon Circle is a solution that recognises the importance of building real and trusted connections among colleagues and teams,” explained Elaine Murphy, Managing Director for LiveTiles in Ireland.

“We designed Neon Circle as something that will evolve, with an emphasis on immediately improving communication and social interaction in the workplace.”

Neon Circle can be custom branded, with this initial version built around the three main challenges facing the modern digital workplace – sophisticated onboarding; a powerful staff and skills directory; and a personalised news feed that’s based on user interest and preferences.

Clive Foley, Lead Architect for Neon Circle, says the product will soon evolve to include artificial intelligence and an- alytics.

“We look forward to introducing collaborative chatbots to this environment, which work for and with employees to take care of rote tasks such as booking meetings, prioritizing emails or answering questions to improve efficiency,” he said.

“We’ ll also introduce highly visual analytics, with heat maps and real-time data that make sure your intranet is adapting to user behavior.”

Since setting up office in mid-May, Sligo has employed 10 people and is working on several ambitious AI-driven projects ranging from health and safety to wellness in the workplace and will also play a central role in shaping some new joint ventures with European-based partners.
