BRICKS 4 Kidz has announced it has a franchise opportunity in County Sligo.

The teaching of Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (S.T.E.M) through educational play is a rapidly emerging trend within the global education sector and Bricks 4 Kidz® is at the forefront of teaching children between the ages of 3-16 years the fundamentals of STEM through LEGO play.

Since being introduced to Ireland in 2015 by Irish Education Entrepreneur and Master Franchisee, Karl Fitzpatrick, Bricks 4 Kidz franchises have been rolled out across Wexford, North Dublin, South Dublin, Louth, Galway and Donegal and he says “We are looking forward to bringing the concept to Sligo and inspiring young people to explore the world of STEM in a playful and accessible environment.”

“Our franchisees receive training and continuous support across all areas of their business development. LEGO is a leading educational tool and our combination of curriculum based lesson plans and fun model builds offer a constant flow of new and innovative content for franchisees to market” says Fitzpatrick.

The highly scalable model has over 20 revenue streams including seasonal camps, birthday parties, pre-school classes, in-school workshops and after school classes.

Prospective franchisees may be able to access funding for a Bricks 4 Kidz business through the Start-Up Refunds for Entrepreneurs (SURE) initiative.

Founded in Florida in 2008, Bricks 4 Kidz® has over 750 franchises in 45 countries. The business model is underpinned by a comprehensive curriculum developed engineers, architects and educators using LEGO® bricks, Technic®, Mindstorms® Robotics and the programming language Scratch.
