COASTAL CHALLENGE

The annual Coastal Challenge, a 42km cycle will take place on Saturday, September 15. Same route as previous years with refreshments at the Beach Bar, Aughris and at the finish in Easkey Community Centre. Cost of entry is Adult €20 and under-18s are €10. Registration will be on the day of the cycle at Easkey Community Centre from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. with the cycle starting at 10.30 a.m.

70K AND 40K FUN CYCLE

Templeboy/Aughris Rural Action group will hold a 70K and 40K fun cycle on Sunday, September 23, starting at 10 a.m. from the Beach Bar with refreshments afterwards.

SYMPATHY

Sympathy is extended to the Cavanagh Family, Monreagh, Easkey on the death of Sr Ita Cavanagh in Queensland, Australia.

ARTS/ CRAFTS EXHIBITION

An exhibition of arts and crafts will be held in Easkey Community Centre for July and August. Cen- tre is open 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday to Thursday. Weekends by appointment only at 096 49020 or 087 6186866.

MONSTER BINGO

A monster bingo will be held in the Diamond Coast Hotel, Enniscrone on Sunday, September 9, at 3 p.m. in aid of the Jonathon Higgins Go Fund Me.

ART CLASSES

West Sligo Family Resource Centre will hold art classes in the Old School House, Templeboy starting September 6 for eight weeks from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. Children between ages seven to 11 years will learn painting, drawing, felting and printing. To book a place call 096 37444 or Gregory 087 6347707.

VINCIE CONLON R.I.P.

The death has taken place of Vincie Conlon, Dunbekin, Dromore West at Sligo University Hospital. His remains were removed from his home to the Church of Our Lady of Perpetual Succour; Dromore West for funeral Mass. Burial took place in Churchill cemetry. Sympathy is extended to his wife and extended family.

MONTHLY DANCE

The monthly social dance takes place in Skreen-Dromard Community Centre on Saturday, August 25, at 10 p.m. Music by Ally Heron and Marian Curry.

LOTTO

There was no winner of the jackpot in the Easkey lotto draw on August 10. Numbers drawn were 13, 15, 28 and 31. €25 winners: Seán Mallon, Darragh Cull, Fiona Curley, Chloe Green, Easkey GAA Promoter’s prize: Tony Jones. Next jackpot €2,400 and the draw will take place at the bingo in the community centre at 8.30 on Friday night. 50/50 winner; Yvonne Melody.
