DANCE/PERFORMING ARTS SCHOOL
Registrations for Victoria Walker Dance and performing arts school, Ballisodare and Carrick on shannon are now open for our 2018-19 year and look forward to welcoming pupils to the school. DEATH
The death has taken place of Sadie Kelly, née Patterson, Carrowpadden, Rathlee. She was predeceased by her husband Janie. Her remains were removed from McGowan’s funeral home to Rathlee Church and burial took place in Roslea Cemetry. Sympathy is extended to her sons Michael, John, Gerard, Gary and Eugene, daughters Eunice, Michelle and Edel, inlaws, grandchildren, brother Bertie, sister Muriel, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.
70K AND 40K FUN CYCLE
Templeboy/Aughris Rural Action group will hold a 70K and 40K fun cycle on Sunday, September 23, starting at 10 a.m. from the Beach Bar with refreshments afterwards.

MONSTER BINGO
A monster bingo will be held in the Diamond Coast Hotel, Enniscrone on Sunday, September 9, at 3 p.m. in aid of the Jonathon Higgins Go Fund Me.
SPEECH AND DRAMA
Enrolment for speech and drama and arts/crafts classes with the Aoife Kilgannon School of Speech and Drama will take place on September 14 from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. in Dromore West community centre. Classes will then commence from Friday 21.

SELF DEFENCE CLASS
A once off two-hour Self Defence class will be held in Skreen-Dromard Community Centre on Thursday, September 6, at 7 p.m. The class is suitable for anyone from 12 years onwards. The cost is €20 for adults and €15 for youths. Ring Aidan at 087 06695056 for information.
CLASS REUNION

There was no winner of the jackpot in the Easkey lotto draw on August 24. Numbers drawn were 7, 16, 18 and 34. €25 winners: William Patterson, Rev Aean Ferguson, Liz Hegearty, Teresa Calpin and Nicola Timpson. Promoter’s prize: Willie Brady.
