Carnival atmosphere at recent family fun day
THERE was a carnival atmosphere at the recent Caltragh Crescent & Rusheen Ard Family Fun Day.
It was organised by the Residents association in conjunction with Sligo County Council.
The day provided an opportunity for local residents to come together to celebrate and have fun. The event included sports activities and the bouncing castles were very popular. The face-painting also was very popular with the children. The day would not have been complete without the delicious hot food washed down with plenty of tea and coffee for the adults. The Residents association wish to thank all the people in the community who participated in the event and thank them for their help on the day. The event was funded under Sligo County Council’s Community and Voluntary Fund and IFI funding under Sligo LCDC.
