RESULTS for the Ladies weekly 18 hole competitio­ns as follows: Alternate day competitio­n 11th and 12th August sponsored by Lannon Pharmacy, 1st prize was won by Pauline Lennon, 2nd prize by Maeve Kelly and 3rd prize went to Bridie Henry.

Sligo Tool & Die sponsored the alternate day competitio­n on 18th and 19th August, 1st prize was won by Assumpta Kelly, 2nd prize by Maeve Kelly and 3rd prize went to Pauline Lennon.

Alternate day competitio­n 25th and 26th August sponsored by Bistro Bianconi, 1st prize went to Christina Fowley, 2nd prize to Maeve Kelly and 3rd prize went to Helen Douglas.

Castledarg­an Ladies travelled to Athlone Golf Club on 1st September. The weather was kind and the golf was good! First prize on the day was won by Therese O’Rourke, 2nd prize went to Loretto Brennan and 3rd prize to Pauline Lennon. A wonderful day and night was enjoyed by all!

Castle Dargan President’s Day, hosted by President Dermot Fallon, was held on Sunday 9th September. An excellent day’s golf was had by all. Ladies 1st prize went to Helen Douglas, 2nd prize was won by Christina Fowley and 3rd prize to Bridie Henry.
