DEATH

The death occurred recently of Annie Henry, Curry East. Sincere sympathy is extended to her daughters Mary, Kathleen, Ursula, Bridie and Anne, sons, Michael, Martin, John and Kevin, extended family and large circle of friends.

COUNTY CHAMPIONS

Curry under-12 girls were crowned county champions last Sunday when they defeated Ballisodare in Kilcoyne Park Tubbercurry. Congratulations to all players, managers and parents.

CULTURE NIGHT

Moylough Arts and Heritage Centre will host a community culture night next Friday, September 21, commencing at 8.30 p.m. Local musicians singers and dancers will display their talents. A video of local townlands recorded some 10 years ago will be shown also a discussion and talk on the heritage of the rambling houses and ceilies of years gone by will be videoed as part of an ongoing research project. Everyone is welcome to attend, light refreshments will be provided. Admission is free.
