Sligo RFC prepare for new AIL season

THE Ulster Bank All-Ireland League kicks off next weekend and Sligo R.F.C. start off their season with an away trip to Irish Independent Park (formerly Musgrave Park) in Cork, where they will take on Sunday’s Well, who finished 6th in division 2B last year. The team are under no illusion as to the size of the task that lies ahead of them, but they have had an intensive pre-season, followed by four games in the Connacht Senior League and, under the guidance of coaches Paddy Pearson and Jason East, are now ready to launch their 2018/19 campaign.
