Grange annual 10k is on soon
THE annual Grange 10k will take place this year on Sunday, October 7th.
The race which is now in its 29th year has been a popular entry in the diaries of runners over a wide area.
Last year the course was changed to avoid using the main roads and avoid some of the difficult hills.
The new course met with almost unanimous approval by those taking part.
There will be prizes in all categories including spot prizes and 2 team prizes in male and female categories.
The race starts at 1pm with the walkers starting at 12:30pm.
Entries are taken in the North Sligo Sports Complex from 11am to 12:45pm for the runners, entry fee 15 euro.
The race will have chip timing too.
