Second defeat at home for All Stars

-

THE EJ Sligo All Stars suffered their second defeat in as many home games, this time losing 85-50 against DBS Eanna from Dublin.

“Eanna was clearly superior in both ends of the court and did not give us a chance to battle with them. We knew this was going to be a very challenging game but we just lacked some energy/ intensity from the beginning. I am confident we will change this going forward in matches for the rest of the season,” said Alberto Garcia, head coach.

“As a team we set our goals at the beginning of the season, to be competitive in every game and go as far as we can in every competition in the league, cup and league cup.

“This is still a young team so the support from fans, parents and supporters is vital to the club. We will continue to develop the team so that we can be as competitive as possible.

“Now we face a challenging four away games in a row starting in Dublin next Saturday against KUBS, then Ulster Elks in Belfast, followed by Tolka Rovers in Dublin and lastly Dublin Lions. We appreciate your continued support and are looking forward to come back home the 27th of October in the first President’s Cup game in the rematch against LYIT Donegal.”
