CLOTHES COLLECTION

The annual Clothes Collection in aid of Ballymote Community Parks/Haiti is on-going, with the dressing room now almost full.

Keep the bags coming in over the next few weeks. The previous collection raised €730 for both the Parks and Haiti. Bags can be left at first dressing room in Brother Walfrid Park-clothes, towels, bed linen, boots, shoes, runners, leather bags, blankets all accepted. No pillows or duvets please. Thank you for your continued support.

CHURCH CHOIR

Ballymote Church Choir practice continues in the Pastoral Centre on Wednesday evenings from 8 p.m. to 9 p.m. all welcome.

DANCING CLASSES

Dancing classes continue at Ballymote Family Resource Centre every Wednesday evening: 7 p.m. – set dancing for children and teenagers. 8 p.m. – sean nós and set dancing for adults. Coach House Hotel Ballymote every Friday evening sean nós Dancing 5.30 – Beginners Children, 6 p.m. – Intermedia­te Children, 6.30-7: 30 – Advanced Children and Teenagers. COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT

An Garda Síochána are hosting a Community Engagement meeting on Wednesday, September 26, at 7 p.m. in the Loftus Hall, Ballymote. Informatio­n and advice will be available from Inspector Padraic Burke, Ballymote Crime Prevention Officer Sergeant Jim Fox and a number of. other local agencies. Everyone welcome.
