HOUSE CONCERT

There will be a House Concert at Moy River Folk Club in Cloonacool this Tuesday, September 25. Something a little bit different in the company of classical musician Karin Leitner (flute) and Teresa O’Donnell (harp). 8 p.m. start and booking is necessary. This promises to be a lovely experience.

CARD GAMES

Card Games recommence in Ballinacar­row Community Centre on Thursday, October 4, at 9 p.m.

WOMEN’S GROUP

Coolaney Women’s Group Meetings will continue in Coolaney Community Centre Thursdays at 10.30 a.m. The interactiv­e classes include activities, occasional days out and profession­al people to give talks and classes. New members are very welcome. Open to all ages.

IRISH DANCING

Irish Dance Classes are recommenci­ng in Coolaney Community Centre this September. All children aged 4+ are welcome. Classes instructed by Patricia Henry, former member of Riverdance. Contact 087 6100597 to secure your place.

COOLANEY ICA

New members are always welcome to attend our classes or join the guild which is now running for over 50 years.

A financial advisor will speak at the October meeting. This talk will cover all aspects of money management, tax affairs and insurance. A great opportunit­y, so have your questions prepared.

Keep fit classes will start on Monday, October 22, and will run for six nights, finishing on November 26 On November 1 at 8 p.m., Faye Hayden from Sligo Social Services will give a talk on a new project running in Sligo and detail the great work carried out by the organisati­on.

Our annual ‘Bag pack for charity’ will take place later in the month, on the 22nd, 23rd and November 24.

COOLANEY UNITED

Coolaney United Wednesday Night Bonus Ball Draw is to support fundraisin­g efforts for the proposed new Astro Pitch in Coolaney Community park. Each Bonus Ball is €5 with a weekly prize of €100. Bonus balls can be purchased in PK MEATS on Thursday and Fridays and in O’GRADs shop and Pub the rest of the week. Best of luck to all.

JUNIOR YOUTH GROUP

Meetings are every Wednesday evening at 8 p.m. to 9 p.m. in the Coolaney Community Centre for Youths between the ages of 12-15.

FORÓIGE CLUB
