Rovers astro league is underway

THE 2018/19 Sligo Rovers Astro League has kicked off, with 15 teams competing in this years competition. Defending champions Cornview Celtic return, in the hope of successfully defending their Premier Division crown which they won emphatically last year, having lost just one league game all year. Teams competing this year are travelling from near and far to participate, with Sligo, Letitrm, Roscommon and Donegal all represented. Matches take place on Mondays from 8pm, Tuesday’s at 9pm, Wednesday’s from 8pm and finally Fridays from 8pm. Members of the public are invited to attend any games they wish too, with all games taking place under floodlights at the Showgrounds Astro facility.
