DREAMCHASE­RS CHILDCARE

Dreamchase­rs Childcare Service at Merville provide a Community Based School Age Childcare (SAC) service. Daily Collection­s (A Walking Bus) from Scoil Ursula & Gael Scoil are provided. Our SAC service run from 1:30pm until 5.00pm/2:30 until 5:30pm, Monday to Friday. Hot meals are provided each day for all children.

We run a supervised homework room daily. Various activities are carried out daily such as art & crafts, sports and both indoor and outdoor play, which now includes using our New Astro Pitch Facility. Fees run in line with the CCS CCSP and TEC Schemes; detailed informatio­n available on request. Extra Spaces are now available. FUNDRAISER

Damien & Paula Brennan of The Yeats Experience, Broc House, Holy Well, Sligo are hosting a very special evening on Friday October 26th. With a full dinner menu and Damien’s insights of WB Yeats the entire proceeds are going to the Sligo branch of the Simon Community. Tickets are €65 pp for the six course menu to include wine and all the Yeats. Tickets are available from the North West Simon Community Charity Shop at 4 JFK Parade, Sligo or by calling Mary on 087 7708865. Limited to 50 people.

AUTUMN ACTIVITIES

September sees the return after the Summer Break of various activities in the Centre Hall. Merville Active Age is back on Tuesday nights from 7:30pm with a busy schedule up to the Christmas Period planned. Five Fist Kung Fu has resumed on Fridays at 6pm. Piloxing with Amanda is back on Tuesdays from 7pm. Circuit Training with Ruairi makes a welcome comeback this week on Mondays and Thursdays from 7:15pm. Further informatio­n is available from the Centre Office, or by turning up on the evenings of your chosen activity.
