PHOTO EXHIBITION
After seven months of work on the project, over 2000 photos have now been collected and named. The dates for the exhibition are Bank Holiday weekend Sunday/Monday, October 28/29 in St Nathy’s Hall 12.30 p.m. till 6.30 p.m. both days. More details soon. Mark it in your diary.
CLOTHES COLLECTION
The parents’ association of Achonry National School are holding their annual Clothes Collection in the near future.(dates to follow)
So lets start Packing those bags and pass the word on to extended Family/Neighbours and friends and lets put in a big effort this year.
Whats Accepted: All clothing including Underwear/Bed linen/ Towels/Curtains/Footwear/Hand Bags/Belts/Soft Toys.

25 CARD GAME
The popular 25 card game has returned to its Friday evening slot in St Nathy’s Hall at 8.30 p.m. New players are always welcome.
SET DANCING
Set dancing has resumed in St Nathy’s Hall on Thursdays, If sufficient numbers attend the classes will continue for the winter.
BALLINACARROW 25 CARDS
Card game recommences in Ballinacarrow Community Centre on Thursday, October 4, at 9 p.m.
CLOONACOOL DISCUSSION
Everyone in the entire Cloonacool area is invited to an open evening of discussion on how people would like to see Cloonacool in 10 years time and the practical things that need doing to get there. It will take place on Tuesday, October 9, at 8 p.m. in the community centre. Young and older are all welcome and more than one from each household is welcome also.
NEW WALKING/ RUNNING TRACK
The newly completed walking/ running track at Nace O’Dowd Park is proving a real success with many folk using it on a daily basis.
The club is currently investigating means to fund the installation of lighting for the track. The club continues its appeal for fence sign sponsors at the park. Contact Ollie at 087 7981827 for details.
