The Snail and The Whale

A wonderful theatre show for children stops off at the Hawk’s Well Theatre on Tuesday the 9th and Wednesday the 10th of October. The show was created in 2012 and has toured to the USA ( including Broadway), Canada, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia and Australia (including Sydney Opera House) and now comes to Sligo!

Longing to see the world, a tiny snail hitches a lif t on the tail of a humpback whale. Together they go on an amazing adventure - but when the whale gets beached, how will the snail save him? This show follows the tiny snail’s exciting journey, as seen through the eyes of an adventurous young girl and her seafaring father.

Suitable for ever yone aged four and up, there are three shows: Tuesday the 9th of Oct at 6pm and

Wednesday the 10th at 10am and 12.30pm. Tickets cost €12/€10 u12s with a special rate of € 38 for a family of four. All tickets have an additional €1 renovation fee surcharge and are available from the theatre box office or online at www. hawkswell.com.
