No joy against Monivea

session in the pack by driving over for a try within 5minutes of the restart. The conversion was scored, to bring them within 4 points of Sligo. A right ding-dong battle ensued, with neither side giving an inch for the next 23 minutes.
The greasy conditions took their toll on the game, resulting in many handling errors on both sides and a litany of scrums slowed the game down for the baying crowd.
The home side had their chances, but a try conceded in the 60th minute proved to be the winning score and a disappointed Sligo had to settle for their third losing bonus point of the season.
