Schools kayak competitio­n soon

NOW in its third year the Sligo Schools Kayak Competitio­n organised by Sligo Grammar School will take place on October 22nd on the Garavogue river.

This event is sponsored by Call of the Wild and run in associatio­n with Sligo Sport and Recreation Partnershi­ps Urban Outdoor Adventure Initiative.

Secondary schools from Sligo are invited to take part in a series of races which will start from Sligo Grammar School. This promises to be an exciting and memorable day for the many paddlers in Sligo schools.
