Schools kayak competition soon

NOW in its third year the Sligo Schools Kayak Competition organised by Sligo Grammar School will take place on October 22nd on the Garavogue river.

This event is sponsored by Call of the Wild and run in association with Sligo Sport and Recreation Partnerships Urban Outdoor Adventure Initiative.

Secondary schools from Sligo are invited to take part in a series of races which will start from Sligo Grammar School. This promises to be an exciting and memorable day for the many paddlers in Sligo schools.
