MCDONALD’S DONATION
Cadra wishes to say many thanks to Leo McNamara of McDonald’s restaurant at Retail Park Carraroe for the generous donation of €500 towards our community activities. Leo presented a cheque to our committee members at a meeting to review our Tidy Town report recently.
25 CARD GAME
Cadra in partnership with St John’s GAA Club organise the regular game of progressive 25 which takes place in Carraroe Community Centre each Tuesday night at 9 p.m. The winners on one games were Fintan Devaney/Patsy McLouhlin, Pádraig McLoughlin/John Lee, Runners-up on 10 games were John Traynor/Brian McDonagh, Carmel/Teresa. Looking forward to seeing all our regular players. New inexperienced players are always welcome. Usual jackpot and prizes on the night. All proceeds go to local projects in the community.

The October meeting of lakeview was held in Carraroe Community Centre on Tuesday last with guest speaker is Imelda Ryan Jones giving a very interesting talk. The art classes are on every Thursday in the community centre from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Congratulations to Drumcliffe Guild on its 40th anniversary. Well done to Carraroe on doing so well in the Tidy Towns competition and to Cadra and all the volunteers who made this possible.

FIDDLE TEACHER REQUIRED
Carraroe national school is looking for someone in the parish area to help train boys and girls to learn the fiddle. Classes are planned during school time. Please contact the school for further information.
