HOME FUEL DRAW

TRACTOR RUN

The recently held Tractor Run in aid of Skreen-Dromard Community Centre raised €1,480 for the community centre. Many thanks to everyone who participat­ed in the event and to those who marshalled and donated. Special thanks go to James and Bernie McLoughlin on organising another great event.

OFFICE SERVICES

The office in the Skreen-Dromard Community Centre is open to the public. Typing photocopyi­ng email CV preparatio­n and more are all offered at a reasonable fee. Call into the office from Monday to Thursday 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. and Friday 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The office is closed for lunch 12.30 p.m. to 1.30 p.m. daily. To book the centre for birthday parties Private parties Meetings etc. call the office to book at 087 6649635.

SOCIAL DANCE CLASSES

Social Dance Classes continue in the Skreen-Dromard Community Centre on Thursday evenings from 8 p.m. A great way to get some gentle exercise and learn a few steps along the way. Ring Eunice at 086 3113033 for further details.

CIRCUIT TRAINING

Circuit Training continues every Monday and Thursday night from 8.30 p.m. to 9.30 p.m. in the Skreen-Dromard Community Centre. All abilities welcome.

GIRL GUIDES

Tireragh Girl Guides Ladybirds and Brownies have resumed their weekly activities at the centre from Friday, September 14, New girls and leaders always welcome. Ring Geraldine at 087 6163606.

ACTIVE AGE GROUP

The Active Age Group meet in Skreen-Dromard Community Centre every Tuesday from 2.30 p.m. Gentle exercise games and refreshmen­ts afterwards. New members always welcome.

COMMUNITY MEALS

Easkey Community Meals on Wheels will deliver to any member of the public from Ballisodar­e to Quay Road Ballina. The cost is €6.50 which includes dinner and dessert. For further details contact 096 49818.

RUBY WEDDING

Congratula­tions to Martin and Bernie White on the recent celebratio­n of their 40th Wedding Anniversar­y at which €600 was raised for the North West Hospice.

SYMPATHY

Deepest sympathy is extended to Sam Higgins and the Higgins family Farnaharpy, Skreen on the recent death of his wife Margaret Eva Higgins (née Boyd), late of Farnaharpy.
