YOUNG AT HEART CLUB

West Sligo Young at Heart Club meet every Thursday afternoon from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. in the community centre, Dromore West. MONSTER BINGO

Easkey monster bingo will be held in the Diamond Coast Hotel, Enniscrone on Sunday, October 21, at 3 p.m. €3,800 in prizes.

BOSTON TEA PARTY

A Boston Tea Party in aid of Rathlee National School will be held in the Ocean Sands Hotel on Friday, October 19. An auction will be held on the night and anyone who would like to donate unwanted gifts can leave them into the school.

STRICTLY COME DANCING

St Farnan’s GAA Club are holding a Strictly Come Dancing fundraiser for the club on November 10 at 8 p.m. in the Diamond Coast Hotel. The dancers will be holding fundraisin­g events in the coming weeks.

LOTTO

There was no winner of the jackpot in the Easkey lotto draw on September 28. Numbers drawn were 12, 18, 21 and 22. €25 winners: Patricia Freeman. Rose Anne McGowan. Tina Nester. Jerry Boland. SCARECROW FESTIVAL

The Easkey Scarecrow Festival will be held this year from October 27 to November 10 - so it’s time to start preparing your exhibits to have them in place for Halloween.

CLOTHES COLLECTION

A clothes collection in aid of Easkey Rounders to raise funds for the developmen­t of the club will be held on Saturday, October 13. All bags of clothing to be left at the Old Factory. The under-13 team are current all-Ireland winners.

TABLE QUIZ

St Farnan’s ladies’ football club are having a table quiz in the Still Bar on Saturday, October 27 at 9 p.m. Tables of four €20.

SYMPATHY

Sympathy is extended to Michael P Doherty, Caltra on the death of his first cousin James Ormsby late of Carrowmacb­rine, who died in New York.
