Calls for better signage for Ballymote’s new health centre
A call is being made by a local councillor to both the HSE and Sligo County Council for proper signage for the new health centre in Ballymote.
South Sligo Cllr Dara Mulvey is requesting that the HSE and Sligo County Council fit adequate directional signage for the newly built primary health centre at Earls Field Ballymote.
Cllr Mulvey said that there is up to 7 roads leading into Ballymote town and the lack of adequate directional signage to the newly built primary health centre is making it difficult for some motorists to find the new medical building.
“There are plenty of metal poles already located around the town to allow for more directional arrows to be fitted.
“These can then show the exact location of the health centre and allow easier accessibility for people some who are not familiar with the town layout and location of the new Primary health care centre,” added Cllr Mulvey.
