Raised €4k for Northwest Simon
THE recent Yeats Experience, hosted by Damien and Paula Brennan in Broc House raised €4,365.92 for the Northwest Simon Community. The couple served up fantastic fare for 55 guests with many of the recipes appearing in Paula’s new book Doctor on a Diet.
All ticket sales from the night went to the Northwest Simon Community and the charity thanked Damien and Paula for hosting such a successful fundraiser. They also thanked the many sponsors and those who donated spot prizes.
Allister McDonald was the winner of the fantastic prize of a meal for ten hosted by the Yeats Experience in their private home.
The charity explained that all of the money raised will go toward the Northwest Simon Community prevention work in Sligo.
From January to September in Sligo alone the charity has worked with 43 cases, 60 were children. The charity cannot continue to support those less fortunate without the support of fundraisers like this one and for this Northwest Simon Community is very thankful to everyone who supported the Yeats Charity Night.
