Represents his country
HIS brother Gerard was part of the Ireland shinty team that travelled to Scotland recently and on Saturday it was Tony O’Kelly-Lynch’s turn to represent his country. The Naomh Eoin clubman was part of the Ireland U21 hurling shinty team that played Scotland in Abbottstown but unfortunately for the hosts, Scotland won the game on a scoreline of 6-7 to 1-10. Tony was one of only 4 players from Connacht who were on the side and he lined out at half forward for the game.
