THE club are running a fundraising table quiz on Saturday night 24th November next in Brennans Lounge at 9.30.pm. All senior team panel members and mentors as well as club members and supporters are asked to organise teams of 4 to come along on the night and compete for some very worthwhile monetary prizes. A prize will also presented to the team with the most humorous name. Well done to the Sligo U-16 team on a great victory on winning the Fr. Manning cup by defeating Wicklow in Longford on Saturday last. Congrats to manager Michael Duffy and his selectors one of which was our own club chairman Bill Carty. Anyone interested in representing the club in the upcoming Scor competitions should contact club secretary Fergus Leonard as soon as possible.The monthly club meeting will be held in the Community Park on this Tuesday evening. All club officers are asked to attend. Any motions for the annual county convention are to be forwarded to the club secretary in the next two weeks. Sympathy is extended to the family, relatives and friends of the late Bill Craven of Corrsallagh who went to his eternal resting place last weekend. May he rest in peace.
