FLOWER ARRANGING

LAST CALL: Merville Centre in partnershi­p with the Mayo Sligo ETB hope to run a Flower Arranging Course from Mid-November on Wednesday Evenings for six Weeks, subject to demand. Places are limited and Expression­s of Interest are welcome by calling the centre office at 071 9150029.

COMMUNITY MASS

The annual Mass for deceased and the sick of Our Community will take place this year on this Friday, November 30, at Merville Centre at 7.30 p.m. Followed by Light Refreshmen­ts. All in our community and Beyond are welcome to Attend.

AUTUMN ACTIVITIES

Merville Centre Host various activities in the centre hall. Merville Active Age is on Tuesday nights from 7.30 p.m. with a busy schedule up to the Christmas Period planned. Five Fist Kung Fu is on Fridays at 6 p.m. Piloxing with Amanda is on Tuesdays from 7 p.m. The Popular Circuit Training with Ruairi continues on Mondays and Thursdays from 7.15 p.m. Further informatio­n is available from the centre office, or by turning up on the evenings of your chosen activity.

ASTRO FACILITY

Merville Community Centre in Conjunctio­n with Merville United has recently opened a New All Weather Pitch Adjacent to the centre, and Limited slots are available for hire. This pitch is ideal for seven a Side Soccer and various Small Sided games and activities especially for smaller groups not catered for on the Larger facilities. DREAMCHASE­RS

Dreamchase­rs Childcare Service at Merville provide a Community Based School Age Childcare (SAC) service. Daily Collection­s (A Walking Bus) from Scoil Ursula and Gael Scoil are provided. Our SAC service run from 1.30 p.m. till 5 p.m/2: 30 till 5.30 p.m., Monday to Friday. Hot meals are provided each day for all children. We run a supervised homework room daily. Various activities are carried out daily such as art and crafts, sports and both indoor and outdoor play, which now includes using our New Astro Pitch Facility. Fees run in line with the CCS CCSP and TEC Schemes; detailed informatio­n available on request. Extra Spaces are now available.
