A meeting will be held in clubhouse on Wednesday 21st at 8 pm. Mr. Neil Kilgannon from Confederation of Golf in Ireland will attend. Topics to be covered are data protection, Social media and amalgamation of ladies and gents club. All members are invited to attend. The winter league sponsored by CMD group training continues to December 31st. There are 28 teams and most contain at least one beginner.

THE AGM of the ladies section of the club was held on Sunday. Regina McLoughlin is the incoming Lady Captain for 2019 and her committee will comprise of : Hon Secretary - Moira Egan, Handicap Secretary - Susan O’Mahony , Competition Secretary - Mary O’Hara, Treasurer - Liz Dwyer, with the following serving as ordinary committee members : Fiona Keenan, Therese O’Daly, Tish Perry and Marie Hanmore-Cawley. Geraldine McDermottroe will be Lady President for 2019. The overall club AGM takes place on the 2nd of December at 5 pm in the clubhouse. KING HARMON - This years King Harmon Trophy has been won in fine style by Mark Whelan, who faced a very formidable opponent Terry Canning.
