QUIZ NIGHT
Coolaney-Mullinabreena GAA Club are hosting a quiz night on Saturday, November 24, next in the Happy Landing, Coolaney at 9.30 p.m. There will be some great prizes up for grabs and a raffle on the night also. Go along for an enjoyable night of fun. All support appreciated.
CHRISTMAS CONCERT
The ever popular Christmas Concert will take place on Saturday, December 22, in St Nathy’s Hall at 8.30 p.m. The usual mix of all kinds of local talent in music, drama and comedy will again be on show in what promises to be a very entertaining night and another full house on the weekend before Christmas.
ORGAN DONOR AWARENESS
The Flanagan family, Coolaney recently sponsored new jerseys for the St Nathy’s Ladies Senior and under-12 teams. The jerseys bear the logo ‘Organ Donor Awareness’ and the family are very generously doing their bit for this crucial awareness campaign. Well done and lets hope it piques the interest of many an observer in the process.
25 CARD GAME
The popular 25 card game continues every Friday in St Nathy’s Hall at 8.30 p.m. New players are always welcome.
SET DANCING
Set dancing continues in St Nathy’s Hall every Thursday at 8.30 p.m. If sufficient numbers attend, the classes will continue for the winter.
WALKING/RUNNING TRACK
The walking/running track at Nace O’Dowd Park is proving a real success with many folk using it on a daily basis. It is contributing hugely to the health and well-being of our community in a real and sustainable way. The club is currently investigating means to fund the installation of lighting for the track. The club continues its appeal for fence sign sponsors at the park. Contact Ollie at 087 7981827 for details.
