GOSPEL CHOIR
After their huge success at last weekend’s annual Night of song, our fabulous Gospel Choir have the following upcoming events in the run up to Christmas.
Wednesday, December 12: Festive Choral Evening at St John’s Evangelist Church Tubbercurry, 7.30 p.m. Tickets €10 each, on sale now.
Thursday, December 13: St Brigid’s Church, Corhownagh, Ballisodare Evening. Exact time to be confirmed.
Saturday, December 22: St Joseph’s Church Rockfield, 7 p.m.
GAA CLUB NEWS
Quiz Night on Saturday, November 24, at 9.30 p.m. Team of four for €40. Great prizes and raffle on the night.

CARD GAMES
25 Card game has resumed in Killoran Community Centre on Wednesdays at 9 p.m. All are very welcome.
Card Games also recommenced in Ballinacarrow Community Centre on Thursdays at 9 p.m.
WOMEN’S GROUP
Coolaney Women’s Group Meetings will continue in Coolaney Community Centre Thursdays at 10.30 a.m. The interactive classes include activities, occasional days out and professional people to give talks and classes. New members are very welcome. Open to all ages.

New members are always welcome to attend our classes or join the guild which is now running for over 50 years. Keep Fit classes continue every Monday till November 26 Our annual ‘Bag pack for charity’ will take place on the 22nd, November 23 and 24.
COOLANEY UNITED
Coolaney United Wednesday Night Bonus Ball Draw is to support fundraising efforts for the proposed new Astro Pitch in Coolaney Community park. Each Bonus Ball is €5 with a weekly prize of €100. Bonus balls can be purchased in PK MEATS on Thursday and Fridays and in O’Grady’s shop and Pub the rest of the week. Best of luck to all.
JUNIOR YOUTH GROUP
Meetings are every Wednesday evening at 8 p.m. to 9 p.m. in the Coolaney Community Centre for Youths between the ages of 12-15.
FORÓIGE CLUB
The Foróige Club meet each Friday evening at Coolaney Community Centre between 7.30 p.m. and 9 p.m. It is open to all youths aged 13 to 18 years. For more information contact Mark at 086 0740841 or Brendan 087 3964541.
CHILDCARE OPEN DAY
Young Explorers Childcare is having its toddler, Preschool and Afterschool Care open day on Saturday, December 8, at 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. in the Young Explorers Purpose Built Facility in Abhainn Mór, Collooney. On the day we will have toddler, preschool teachers and afterschool educators giving information about themselves and their roles as well as the daily routine and activities in each of our rooms.
We will be giving tours of the building and outdoor areas and will be able to provide support to parents wishing to complete enrolment forms. Enrolment packs will be available on the day. We advise early booking to guarantee your place for January/September 2019. We are providers of the Affordable Childcare Subvention Schemes. We open 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. for 50 weeks of the year.
