Ballinfull PO public meeting

THERE will be apublic meeting concerning Ballinfull Post Office in Maugherow Hall this Wednesday 28 November at 8pm.

An Post withdrew postal services from Maugherow on 22 August last. The community was informed by An Post that the Independent Reviewer upheld An Post’s decision and that it ‘was made in accordance with the Protocol, and, in particular, the provisions concerning population thresholds and distances’ to ensure that all settlements with over 500 people have a Post Office.’ The area served by Ballinfull has a population Post Office of 1036.
