Property marking machine comes to South Sligo

-

THE newly purchased Telisis property marking machine is to come to locations in south Sligo in the coming weeks and months, it has been confirmed. The machine which was purchased by Sligo County Council marks any surface bar glass with the owners unique Eir- code.

“This will help with trace-ability if the item is stolen and indeed reduce the likelihood of it being robbed as marked goods do not sell well” Ballymote Councillor Keith Henry said. Farm and construction tools, trailers and expensive electrical goods all can be marked to varying sizes by the unit.

“The machine will be at the Aurivo Mart yard on Saturday December 8th from 11am to 3pm and I’d encourage people to take the opportunity to have their good marked” Cllr Henry added.

“Bunninadden Community Centre have also agreed to be a marking venue and I’m awaiting confirmation of a date for this location but would advise that people think of items they’d like to get marked and confirm their Eircode.”
