One Act Drama Festival delights theatre enthusiasts with 75th year celebrations
THE One Act Drama Festival was a wonderful feast of comedy and interesting new and exciting dramas. The event adjudicator Geoff O’Keeffe was a wonderful hit with competing groups from all over Ireland and the audience.
The committee were delighted to have Hubert Mc Morrrow, seer of amateur drama, formally close the festival.
The esteemed Chairman Brendan Mc Gowan remarked that as the event’s 75 year celebration came to a close, in the words of Brian Friel‘ “It’s all over… and it ’s all about to begin”
The WDF team did an outstanding job one again running a successful festival. They are delighted to have some new members on board and welcome new people who would like to join the team.
