HISTORICAL TALK

The Curry Parish History Group have organised and illustrated talk with discussion to be held on Tuesday, November 27, at 8 p.m. in Moylough Arts and Heritage centre.

Simone Hickey, distinguished Sligo historian and researcher will discuss the lives times social profile and the motivation of local men who lost their lives as a direct result of the Great War 1914-18. Everyone is welcome to attend to become involved in local history. Anyone, who has memorabilia is encouraged to bring them along.

25 CARD DRIVE

Joint winners of the 25 drive in arts and Heritage centre last Wednesday night were, Martin Coffey, James Reidy, Paul Flannnery, John Browne with six games. Raffle winners were Paul Flannery, Michael Devaney, John Brennan, Martin Connolly.
