Good numbers of stock presented again this week with trade similar to previous weeks. The heifer trade was strong especially for the quality forward stores, while the weanling rings reported a steady trade but plaine type stock remaining harder sold. Good numbers of dry cows on offer this week with a high percentage of store cows on offer. Breeding stock remain a very good trade with a top price of €2320 paid for a Charolais Cow and a Hereford bull calf at foot. The runner trade reported a good clearance with demand strongest for the continenta­l lots.

180 bullocks on offer last Monday with prices improved for the better quality forward stores. Lesser quality stock was unchanged with a good clearance taking place.
