N17 funding

Independent Councillor Margaret Gormley claimed South and West Sligo were only getting “crumbs” of funding.

While she welcomed the other funding news, she said the “N17 is on the agenda for the l ast 30 years.”

“Only l ast Friday there was a four car accident at Achonr y - it’s time the N17 got work done on it . The N17 is a priorit y we need to progress in order that the towns and villages along it can progress,” she told the meeting.
