Innisfree Wheelers’ Santa Cycle

-

IT is Santa Cycle time again!

If you want to do something original this festive season why not get out your bike and put on your santa suit and join Innisfree Wheelers for their popular event this Sunday, December 9th.

The Santa Cycle is a fun spin around Lough Gill. You will be supporting the Lions Club Christmas Food Appeal.

Last Christmas the Lions Club packed and distributed 260 food hampers to families in need throughout the Sligo region.

The estimated retail value of this was €12,000. The cycle contributed an important part to this overall figure.

Participants of the Santa Cycle will receive teas and scone in Dromahair and from there pedal on to Carraroe where they will gather and cycle through town surprising all the children and some adults who are out and about.

On finishing the spin they will give you a tea, coffee or festive hot Port in Connolly’s bar.

Everyone is welcome to take part, just bring a road worthy bike and helmet with your festive outfit and have a fun spin while support- ing a worthy cause.

The cycle starts from the Knocknarea Arena, IT Sligo at 11am and the cost of entry is €15.
