SOCIAL DANCE

The December Social Dance in the community centre Skreen will take place on Saturday, December 29, music will be provided by the Duets. Dancing from 10 p.m. Everyone welcome.

COMMUNITY COUNCIL

At the recently held AGM of the Community Council the following officers were elected to serve for the coming 12 months chairperson James McLoughlin Vice-chairperson Allister Kee secretary Jackie Higgins Assistant secretary Karen Gough Joint treasurers Jennifer Donovan and Mark Boland PRO Pat Gallagher Safety Officers Tom Kennedy and Francis Finnerty.

FLOWER DEMONSTRATION

A Christmas Flower Demonstration will take place in Coláiste Iascaigh Easkey on Wednesday, December 5, at 8 p.m. The Demonstrator on the night will be Sr. Fionnuala Kevany and all funds raised on the night will be divided between Colaiste Iascaigh and Fr Martin Kevany’s Brazil Fund.

COMMUNITY PRE-SCHOOL

Anyone intending or interested in sending their child or children to the Skreen-Dromard Community Pre-School at the September 2019 intake is asked to contact Deborah as soon as possible at 087 1755966 for further details or to register.

COMMUNITY CARE PARTY

The Community Care Christmas party will be held on Sunday, December 16, in the Ocean Sands Hotel Enniscrone. More information to follow next week.

CHURCH GATE COLLECTION

The recently held church gate collection in aid of the West Sligo Forum raised €320 for the group. This group provides two workers for maintenance work at Beltra Hall Skreen-Dromard Community Centre Skreen Church of Ireland and the maintenance of the Layby on the Main road in Skreen.
