Congratulations to Seán O’Driscoll son of Tom and Mae O’Driscoll, Easkey, who is the winner of the prestigious Building Britain Award. Seán’s company set up over 20 years ago is the GALLDRIS Group, a Civil Engineering Company now heading up major construction works in the UK.

The county finals of Scor na nÓg were held in Dromore West on Sunday last. Well done to all from the area who took part. Congratulations to the music group from Easkey, who won and will represent the county at the Connacht finals.

Students from Coláiste Iascaigh will hold a Christmas market on Thursday, December 6, in the Courthouse Easkey from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Handmade crafts and decorations made by the students, snacks and beverages will be available to purchase.

The annual general meeting of Dromore West Community Council will be held in the community centre on tonight Tuesday, December 4, at 8 p.m.

Tireragh CCÉ annual Christmas Concert takes place in Dromore West Community Centre on Friday, December 28 at 7.30 p.m. A great night of entertainment is guaranteed with music, song and dance. Refreshments will be served.

‘Charles Dickens – A Christmas Carol’ performed by Stephen Doyle will be held on Sunday, December 9, at 8 p.m. in Kilglass Church of Ireland.

FLOWER DEMONSTRATION
A Christmas Flower demonstration by Sr Fionnuala Keveny will be held on Wednesday, December 5, at 8 p.m. in Coláiste Iascaigh. Funds raised are in aid of Fr Martin Keveny Brazil Fund and Colaiste Iascaigh School development. Raffle, spot prizes and refreshments.
