All are welcome to the wellbeing event on in the Ocean Sands Enniscrone on December 5 from 7.30 p.m. to 9 p.m. Hosted By the West Sligo Family Resource Centre.
FUN CYCLE DAY
This will be on December 8 from midday to 2 p.m. at the family resource centre Enniscrone age 7-12 booking essential to 096 37444 please bring your own bike a helmet and a water bottle.
CHRISTMAS FAYRE
The annual Christmas Fayre at the Garden Centre, Gallagher House, and Tubbercurry is taking place on Sunday, December 16, from midday to 4 p.m. There will be a large selection of Christmas arrangements and crafts available. Come along and buy all your Christmas gifts. Raffle will take place on the day and refreshments will be served.
COMMUNITY COUNCIL
KILGLASS COMMUNITY COUNCIL are having an update opening meeting on the Cardens property on Monday, December 3, at 8.30 p.m. in Sheridan’s Bar Kilglass.
FUN BEAT THE INTRO QUIZ
This takes place every Friday night in Sheridan’s bar Kilglass at 9 p.m. Entry fee is only €2 with the proceeds going to Kilglass Community Council Cardens Development Fund. The club is holding two quiz nights one in Gilroy’s Bar on Friday, December 14, and Sheridan’s Bar Kilglass on January 18 Both Quiz nights are for two former member’s Eddie O’Dowd and Gerry Gilroy. All proceeds will go to the families chosen charities. Billy Varley will be the Quiz Master on the night. Please come out and support.
SOCIAL BRIDGE CLUB
Enniscrone Social Bridge Club takes place at the Diamond Coast Hotel every Wednesday night commencing at seven.
The winners on November 21 were, N/S Joan and Owen Clancy. E/W Jack Kennedy and Gerry Boland. The winners on November 28, N/S Teresa and Kevin McLaughlin, E/W Breege Cafferty and Carthage Cusack. Next week the Turkey competition will be played and the Christmas party will be held on December 12.
BLOTTO DRAW
No winner of the €3,200 jackpot when draw took place in Sheridan’s Pub, Kilglass Saturday night last. Numbers drawn were 12, 13 and 27. €25 winners were Joan Cawley, Tom McGuire, Paul Hannon and Gary Cawley. Next draw will take place in Hopkin’s Bar on Saturday, December 1, and the jackpot will be for €3,400
