Levies on Vacant Sites in 2020

The Council has added 18 sites to the Vacant Sites Register and is proposing to add another 18 sites before the end of the year.

Cllr Declan Bree, who had asked for the update on the Vacant Sites Lev y, was told that the l ev y for 2019 will be applied to all 18 sites at a rate of 7% of the market value of the site and will be payable in 2020.

To date, just t wo of the 18 sites registered this year have been appealed to An Bord Pleanala.
