Dog waste in Cartron

Dog walkers in Cartron Bay/Point area have been urged to apply to the Anti Litter Anti Graffit (ALAG) Grant Scheme for the installation of a dog waste disposal system.

Cllr Gino O’Boyle had asked the Council to provide the system but was advised of the above grant residents can avail of.

Tidy Town Groups in Strandhill and Rosses Point got such funding in 2017 and this year. Their Tidy Towns groups dispose and replenish the bags as required.
