Welcome for fibre-optic roll-out in Curry area
COUNCILLOR Sinéad Maguire is delighted to see that the rollout of the art Fibre-optic at Ballyglass, Curry has commenced.
Cllr Maguire had highlighted the need for high speed broadband at a recent meeting at Moylough Community Hall. Councillor Maguire said: “This is a great development for the local community.
“It makes a huge difference to individuals, and those trying to run a business.
“More and more people need to access broadband to work from home successfully.”
Currently High-Speed Fibre- Optic cables are being fed into distribution boxes throughout the Curry/Moylough Parish.
The households in the areas will be offered state of the art high speed fibre-optic broadband by the major providers. Curry GAA club will also have a link to their facilities in Carrarea, Curry.
