Sympathy is extended on the recent death of Mary Kildunne, Curroy, Aclare, to her family, neighbours and friends. Also to the family of Tom (Thomas Waters), Cloonbarry, Aclare, on their sad loss. May their souls rest in peace.

CONGRATULATIONS

Congratulations to St Attracta’s Community School and their first year Girls Futsal team on becoming all-Ireland winners last week in Waterford when they overcame teams from the other three provinces to be crowned all-Ireland Champions in a competition run by the FAI.

PHOENIX PLAYERS

The Phoenix Players will present ‘Moll’, the classic comedy by John B Keane in St Brigid’s Hall on Thursday, December 13, at 8 p.m. with repeat performance on Sunday, December 16.

Directed by Eamonn Gallagher, the cast includes Pat Feely, Gerry Maye, Kieran Brennan, Pat Gilmartin and Mary T Mannion in the title role as Moll.
