COMMUNITY OPEN DISCUSSION
Following a very well attended and positive first meeting, everyone in the entire Cloonacool area is now invited to a second open evening to discuss planning for Cloonacool in 10 years time and the practical things that need doing to get there. It will take place on Tuesday, December 11, at 8 p.m. in the community centre. Young and older are all welcome and more than one from each household is welcome also.
OPERATION TRANSFORMATION
The GAA club is running Operation Transformation starting first week of January and will run for seven weeks. There are two ‘Fit for all’ classes (Wednesday evening and Satursday morning) and an organised walk on Sundays.
It will be €70 per person for the seven weeks. After the seven weeks there will be night out to celebrate achievements. It promises to be a great community activity, with a lot on board already. MOY RIVER FOLK CLUB
Dónal Clancy (son of Liam Clancy) will play a House Concert at Moy River Folk Club (Moy River B&B) in Cloonacool on Saturday, December 8, at 8 p.m. Booking at 087 2512030.
COMMUNITY PARK DRAW
The Cloonacool Community park lotto draw for November took place in Brennan’s on Saturday night. There was no winner of the €2,400 jackpot. The numbers drawn were 6, 17, 19 and 32. There was one match-three winner Jason Brennan, who won €200. Next month’s jackpot will be worth €2,500. Many thanks for your continued and generous support.
PHOTOGRAPHIC HISTORY
As a result of recent community meeting one group have taken on the task of developing a history of the times past by means of a photographic display. To do this the support of the community is required. We plan to source
