A fun-filled cracker of a workshop that promises to sparkle with Christmas magic. The workshop is followed by a secret, seasonal screening in The Model cinema.

STARING DOWN COMETS
Staring Down Comets are an original alternative indie folk rock band consisting of five members Sean Wynne, Gavin McGuire, Peter Hannon, Mark McGovern and Ryan Hennessy, all of whom hail from county Sligo. They play this Thursday in the Swagman at 9.30 where they will play a full original set, and also be joined by special guests on the night Anthony Wall and Wayne O’Connor. All members of the band were involved in the music scene in county Sligo with different bands, music events and festivals before coming together.

This year Calry Drama present the story, Ali Baba, a poor woodcutter who discovers the secret of a thieves’ den, entered with the phrase ‘Open Sesame’.Ali Baba and his elder brother Cassim are the sons of a merchant. After their father’s death, the greedy Cassim marries a wealthy woman. The show takes place at CAlry Hall this Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
