Swim raises €41,130.97 for the Northwest Hospice

-

THE organisers of the annual Lough Gill swim recently presented the cheque from the event to the Northwest Hospice in their new shop on Wine Street.

The swim, which was founded in memory of the late Neil McGarry, is a huge fundraiser for the Northwest Hospice and every year raises substantial money for the charity.

This year the swim raised a whopping €41,130.97 which will go toward the vital services the Northwest Hospice provides.

Organisers said they were delighted with the amount raised once again and thanked everyone who came out to support the swimmers on the day.

They are already planning for next year’s event.
