Eamonn McGirl Memorial
A whopping €40,322.02 was raised Eamonn McGirl Memorial Fund recently for the Northwest Hospice. The McGirl family presented the cheques to the Carrick-on-Shannon Golf Club and the Northwest Hospice. Eamonn was a very passionate and important member of Carrick-on-Shannon Golf Club. He was a brilliant club captain in 2015.Eamonn and his family were aided greatly by the Northwest Hospice in his final weeks. They did their absolute best to take care of both Eamonn & his family. The club thanked everyone who supported this event, made donations and helped them over the weekend. It was a lovely way to remember their dear friend.
