Cloonacool’s charity match

THE annual Cloonacool charity match will be played on St. Stephen’s day in the Community Park at 2 pm.

The East will face the boys from the West once again and team captains Hughie Marren and Ronnie Leonard are busy at present assembling their squads.

The chosen charity this year is Diabetes Ireland. As many people as possible are encouraged to come out on the day to support this very worthy cause.

It is always a great event raising money for charity with friends and family catching up. There is some rivalry also between the teams adding to the entertainment as the winners earn the bragging rights.
